About our jewelry:
Our 20” oxidized brass chain has a plated finish applied to steel. Steel, while less expensive than brass, is stronger and lighter weight. However, it might show some rust from humidity or moisture. If you notice this, just use a metal polishing cloth or WD-40. Just lightly spray the chain with a little WD-40 and then wipe with an old soft cloth.

The bead cap is raw brass that has been cleaned. Therefore, it will darken to a natural patina with time and exposure to the elements. Aside from the acorn bead, all other materials are plated in rich antique patinas using oxidized brass.

Our supplies are in compliance with California's Lead-Containing Jewelry Law. If you are allergic to metal, these items should not be worn, nor should they be worn by small children. Our necklace is handmade in the USA and nickel free.
